Hazel is a popular singer who, after her last album flopped, is looking for a comeback. One she believed she had in progress with a track by a notable producer, but with her album shelved and the song stolen right from under her, by her husband Derek, she decides it is time to confront him about their marriage. Leading to divorce proceedings beginning and a nasty series of battles.

One of the partners at Harlem Boy records, and Hazel’s husband who is trash. On top of having an open affair, which was well known in the industry, he profited and tanked Hazel’s career with one bad album and is allowing said album to continue to permeate the air by not fighting for its follow up. For, instead, he is focused on his protégé/ girlfriend Stella.
