  1. Plus, considering we don’t know Zoey’s relationship history, it could be cool to see how she acts when in love.

I just hope she doesn’t get second thoughts and cheat on Max with Simon. While I understand they wouldn’t want her perfect and without flaws, there are flaws a character can have beyond being indecisive and selfish.

  2. I’m not a fan of love triangles at all, so if Zoey kept on hesitating between choosing between the two men, I’d be rolling my eyes and sighing with impatience at every episode. And I agree with you about Simon because they never had a conversation about anything but one of their fathers or grief or sadness or recovering from grief or feeling less sad. And with the show being weekly, being in a relationship with Max is a new way for the show to go and perhaps new songs to hear.

  3. I mean, is it a lie? I enjoy Simon but, and maybe this is from listening to Whitney Cummings’ podcast too much, but I’m starting to realize their relationship was born in trauma over losing their fathers and I’m unsure if it can evolve past that. Meanwhile, while Max isn’t perfect, there is a way forward. Which I realize might be completely contradictory to what I said in season 1, but the start of new seasons sometimes feel like a reset. Especially when the show is weekly.

  4. Hi Amari! Zoey’s back! Next to The Good Doctor, one of my favorite shows. But I was glad when Mo called out Zoey for her “Champagne Problems”. Yes, your Dad died 6 weeks ago and that really sucks, but look at the great things that have come your way! (Simon/Max! A promotion offer!)

I’ll miss Joan, too. (clothes from Etsy – ha!) I can take Geoge only in small doses, so he’s allowed to sing and say a few lines and hopefully that’s it. And Mo’s crack about if Zoey loses her powers, she’ll stop being interesting enough to hang out with or whatever wasn’t very nice. But hopefully Alex Newell(sp) wants to stay on the show and Mo will stick around.

I hope Zoey has actually chosen Max. Yay Max! Simon trying to “trauma bond” – clever!
