Plot Recap

Brandon gets a job! As what? He is coaching the high school video game club and is pretty good at it. However, the problem is that one of the moms recognizes Brandon and doesn’t want their kid around that despite being a consumer of Brandon’s content and outside work. But, with their kid exposing them, the principal decides to take Brandon’s side and make it clear he isn’t fired.

Speaking of getting fired, Terry plays with fire by entering the HR person at his job, Michelle. She seems nice, maybe just a widow looking out for him by cooking for him, but then she starts doing everything that could put Terry in danger. Not just in terms of Michelle maybe flipping the script on him if he tries to report her luring him to a bar under false pretenses, but also because his wife is Ms. Pat, and between her seeing Michelle’s texts and Denise riling her up? Terry better say the right thing quickly so Pat’s anger gets redirected away from him, especially since he lies about him meeting her at a bar.

Highlights

A Complicated HR Situation

Lisa Vidal as Michelle
“Lisa Vidal as Michelle,” The Ms. Pat Show, “Body Aches and Booty Shakes,” directed by Mary Lou Belli, 2023, (BET Plus)

This is a very interesting scenario that Terry is in. He is male, married, and the person whose job is to protect the company from the misdeeds of employees came onto him. Now, being that this is a comedy, we know there is going to be a certain amount of levity at play, but that doesn’t discount the seriousness of the situation, even without factoring in Pat and Denise likely wanting to beat Michelle’s behind.

So it should be interesting to see how this plays out, especially since there aren’t too many storylines that get to play out over multiple episodes on “The Ms. Pat Show.”
