As the guys have their friends meet the ladies, we’re reminded that this has been a staple of the series for a reason.

Plot Recap

When The Dates Went Well – William, Patrice, Mya, Domonique, Vanessa, Laron, Alonzo, Rasheena, Justin, Chaz, Mieka

For William, despite being in the bottom 3, you could never tell he was potentially about to be eliminated. When she met his friends, Patrice came out swinging with flowers, and Alexis arrived and didn’t start anything with Patrice, and then Mya? She came off supportive of his career and sweet. Which only made me wonder why he was in the bottom three in the last episode, not Laron?

Speaking of him, he has Mya and Mieka meet his friends, and Mya shows she is open and friendly to all and Mieka? With not wanting kids and being openly worried about Laron’s lack of experience with kids, there is a real need to question if he thought this through.

Moving on, Chaz and Domonique have Vanessa meet their friends. Her being calm, cool, and collected may have led to a side eye early on, with the critique of her “Not opening up,” but it seems that the level of peace she brings has become appreciated. In fact, Domonique seems to really be ready to lock that down.

Which leaves Alonzo and Justin; both, Rasheena is cool but doesn’t seem like their top pick. Alonzo is far more into Patrice, who is dating with top level game in the process. As for Justin? Mieka making it sound like it is either Justin or no one surely stroked his ego. But you can’t discount him being okay with not having kids being equal to not wanting them. So, while things seem good, it may not last.

When The Dates Didn’t – Alexis, Chaz, Laron

Alexis just strikes out this episode. She isn’t anyone’s top, whether it is the friends or a contestant, and it is mostly because it seems like she is ready to end something if someone is willing to start it. But, in general, it seems while Alexis’ bubbly personality is appreciated, the drama she involved herself in with Will, paired with LaRon wanting vengeance for his past match, has soured many of the guys’ opinions of her.

Elimination Time – Mieka, Alexis

So, after deliberation, Mieka and Alexis end up in the bottom two, and for Mieka, clearly, the lack of desire to have kids remains an issue she will never escape. As for Alexis? Her looking out for Will has tarnished her reputation to the point she seems to like to be in some drama.

Mieka seems to barely make it out between the two, but she’ll return to the bottom two unless Justin becomes a big advocate for her.

Other Noteworthy Information

  1. Next Eliminated (Men): LaRon is definitely going to be in the bottom since I don’t see him as anyone’s top guy, and as for who will join him? It is hard to say since the other men have far better connections than LaRon and seem to be winding down on their journeys.
  2. Next Eliminated (Women): Mieka, I think, is bound to be in the bottom two again, and either Vanessa or Rasheena will join her since I think both have been losing steam for a while. But, of the three, I think it is Rasheena and Mieka who are the most likely to end up in the bottom two since the only person they are the top anything for is Justin.
  3. Final Couples: Patrice will end up with someone, Chaz and Vanessa, and Mya should, considering the numbers game here.

Highlights

An Uneventful Episode

In reality TV, an uneventful episode can sometimes be a bad thing. After all, if reality TV could exist as just watching wholesome things happen to people, we’d see far more of it. However, that isn’t the case on network TV and is almost exclusive to platforms like YouTube.

Yet, when it comes to “Ready To Love,” the biggest issue being LaRon having it out for Alexis to avenge his top was okay. It made sense; it was definitely an emotional season but one that could be understood, and when all was said and done, he didn’t act up or out when confronted by Alexis. Low-key, he punked out, but it sets up a wonderful moment for the reunion show.

Summary

Even without the drama that usually comes from this episode being featured, it was an enjoyable watch. There weren’t any notable revelations that pushed you to think this person or that person may end up together, but as things thin out, we expect to see more.
