Makeine: Too Many Losing Heroines! – Season 1 Episode 8 – Review & Recap
As a transition in who runs the literature club begins, Nukumizu learns that the club needs a faculty club advisor to continue.
The Gist
The TLDR Recap/ Review
- With the president and vice president of the Literature club preparing for college, they decided Komari should become president and Nukumizu would become her vice president.
- This is fine with Nukumizu, but he didn’t know how much work he inherited, such as finding a club faculty advisor and submitting an application for the Tsuwabuki Festival.
- In terms of the advisor, Konuki Sayo, the school nurse, steps up, but the application is a bit harder of a task since Komari wants to succeed without relying on Koto or Shintaru.
- Thankfully, with Nukumizu and Kaju’s help, a food and literature theme is decided on with Anna consulting, which the student council accepts.
- This is the episode where you realize we barely know anything about anyone beyond who they had or have a crush on and one other thing about them.
- Komari, for example, apparently helps take care of her siblings and knows how to bake, if not cook in general, and it seems many underestimate her femininity.
- Also, while the show isn’t a harem, there is a need to ask if Komari has been teasing and maybe holding back feelings for Nukumizu due to the assumption he was with Anna.
- It’s hard to say, but considering how Nukumizu seems geared to have something romantic happen in his life, maybe Komari will be so bold as to approach and confess to another guy.
