While absolutely silly, A Christmas Surprise does deliver a fun, overtly dramatic Christmas story.
“Insecure,” after a lengthy hiatus, returns, and while it does contain explosive moments, it’s the quiet ones that bring out its best scenes.
The beginning of the end for Molly and Issa arrives, and maybe for Condola’s relationships with Issa and Lawrence as well.
It’s a hijinks episode featuring a Disney version of Stranger Things and Raven getting her weave sewn in. Oh, and Chelsea being weird – as usual.
Sam heads to her dad’s funeral, with Joelle and surprisingly Coco, and comes to terms with, not just her guilt, but also a renewed love for her father.
Despite no noteworthy performances, and this being a remake, Flatliners contains just enough surprises to fight off preconceived notions.
The overall goal of Wherever I Look is to fill in that space between the average fan and critic and advise you on what’s worth experiencing.
