Our Take

As noted in the intro, and as you can see from the sketch preview, this pretty much seems like Black Lady Sketch Show, but with the cast being men and women. But also, it seems things are being taken a bit further when it comes to the Black experience. The sketch shows that through taking on not just the Magical Negro trope, but naming names. With that, it seems there will be a bit more confrontation with this show and instead of just addressing broad topics, it will address specific subjects and properties.
