  1. Couldn’t said it better than your breakdown.
This episode for me is so hard to breakdown in one breath. So much was happening on the screen that I was glue. So many past details, as you say, were answered. We’re treated to the happy moments and then boom it all becomes tragic and full of sadness. We see, what is rare for shows, to show the “struggle” of a loveone and thje toll it takes on the family, friends, and those around. At one point, Mark and Elizabeth even had their mattress in Eleanor’s room because they couldn’t leave her alone and they werte simply exhausted. This really happens to a lot of family in real life and I’m glad the show let us see it.
We seen what Eleanor looks like when she haven’t enough blood. She slowly dies and looks sickly and pale. This happen numerous times in the episodes because she need more blood that she wasn’t getting.
They show us how when she becomes “feral” instinct takes over and she’s ready to feed on anyone, including her mom. Luckily Zeke was there with his horror movie knowledge.
Everyone tried to help Eleanor but it became apparent more blood was needed and Mark deciding to kill sex offenders wasn’t a bad idea imo. I do believe Zeke did not want his best friend to go down that path but I also believe he was scared and didn’t want to go to jail and lose his restaurant. A little selfish but realistic.
The MVP was the actress who played Elizabeth. She was struggling just as much as Ellie. That “mom” attitude and love was kicking in overdrive. And she did what many mothers would do. Sacrifice themselves for their child. Again, realistic.

This show deserves props for answering many questions and leaving you with enough to keep tuning in. I appreciate this show not holding back and giving us our horror vampire lore and expanding on this story as well.

Thanks for your breakdown and review. I will add some of my speculation on where things are(could be) going. That’s always fun. Have a good day.
