Recap
Reintroducing The Girls – Ai, Neiru, Rika, Momoe
To keep things simple, what we learn is that both Ai and Neiru are 14, and while Neiru is liking leaving parts out as to why her sister stabbed her and killed herself, Ai might have mentally blocked out her role in Koito’s death. As for Rika? Nothing new is learned, and the same goes for Momoe. It pretty much is everything we’ve put in our character guide for Wonder Egg Priority.
The Mysteries of Egg World – Acca, Ura-Acca
So, the world where the girls fight what are called “Wonder Killers” is called the “Egg World.” There, the “Wonder Killers” exist due to those who committed suicide having lingering feelings of obsession, discord, or trauma. And while you already know that the girls are immortal in Egg World, yet their injuries carry over to the real world, what is furthered revealed is the Egg World makes them stronger.
The way it is explained, the “Egg World” exists in a way that is like high altitude training. So alongside getting physically stronger, with Ai noting she feels her abs are developing, your wounds in the real world heal faster too. Now, what happens when you don’t go to “Egg World” for extended periods of time? That’s hard to say. Will the healing effect remain or diminish? Could you potentially lose access to the “Egg World?” Unfortunately, while this recap episode provides a handful of information, mostly it’s filler.

Highlights
A Handful of New Information
From ages to learning Ai is in her 2nd year of middle school, and Neiru’s company being BlueCorp, certain things were made more clear. Also, we have a name for the monsters that show up, and other things were clearly defined.
On The Fence
Lack Of Answers
However, for the most part, we’re still rather left in the dark about important things. First and foremost, is it a guarantee the Accas can revive someone who was dead? Much less, would they be revived in Egg World, and thus the girls would have to face their Wonder Killer, or would they return to the real world?
Also, while it is understood why Rika’s weapon is a blade, why does everyone else have the weapon they have? Is Ai a writer, Neiru a gun enthusiast? What’s the story there? Because, without a manga attached, this is the definitive information for Wonder Egg Priority. Also, as we learned a long time ago, anime getting multiple seasons is rare. Especially with no official manga to support this, it makes Wonder Egg Priority getting a second season even less likely – unless it is immensely popular.
