Overview
Dungeon ni Deai o Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka? Is certainly cute, and has a likable protagonist, but nothing about it really stands out to make it be anywhere near the front of the pack this season.

Characters & Story
Bell is our protagonist and is portrayed as an up and comer who just recently received the blessing of a goddess. Albeit one hardly anyone knows, so their family is just the two of them, but in a world of monsters and adventurers, the blessing of any goddess is nothing to sneeze at. However, while Bell likes going into dungeons and fighting, part of the reason he became an adventurer is to find a woman, not anyone in particular, but one to fall in love with. Enter Aiz Wallenstein, one of the top swordsmen in Orario and the head of the Loki family. She saves Bell from a Minotaur and he falls for her strength and beauty. However, being that usually it is the man who saves the woman, the question becomes: Will Aiz eventually fall in love with Bell, and will it be for his potential strength, or the person he already is?
Praise
I have to admit, Bell is a rather interesting character, and while he comes off as nice and instantly likable as any protagonist, I must admit that even with how bland he can come off, there is something about him which could hook you into the show. Be it because he strives to constantly be better, his relationship with women, or the fact you know he is going to get some really awesome fight scenes, there is just something here worth sticking around for.
Especially since, despite the amount of unnecessary breast ecchi, the women seem to be more than their silhouette. Something which is made apparent by Aiz not being noted, first, foremost, and only, for her beauty, but her swordplay talent. Then, with her being the head of her family, it increases the idea that this show isn’t about making damsels in distress for Bell to save, for he is the one who may often need saving. A likable feature in the action genre, anime or live action.
Criticism
While Bell, and the characters thus far introduced, are likable, the story’s trajectory seems like the type you have likely seen many times before in which a newcomer starts off as a nothing, and builds himself a strong reputation. One in which, yeah, he loses on occasion, but then he comes back 2x as strong and the cycle is done so many times that it loses its impact after the first go.
Overall: Stick Around
Hopefully, the show doesn’t take after Dragon Ball Z, and similar action shows, which repeat their storylines repeatedly but insert different characters, in the attempt to fulfill whatever episode order the show has. For this program does seem likable, and I am curious to see how Aiz likely falls for Bell, but between the bouncing breast, ecchi moments, and what may be a predictable story, the program shows it may have potential, but may just end up average.
Feelings Since The Premiere
This show I honestly wished I would have reviewed for it gets better with time and I found it entertaining.
