Usually, when you think of a dystopian future, it is post-war or after humanity destroyed the environment. However, in The Circle, the dystopian future is when all privacy is lost and similar to a handful of Black Mirror episodes, no one is who they truly are.
Beauty and the Beast may not capture the magic of the original, but the melodrama added on to fill in the missing backstories of a few characters makes this live action remake just a tinsey bit worth it.
In a small religious town, there is the belief that there are satanic cults doing the devil’s bidding, and one young woman is their latest victim. Problem is, the man she claims used to rape her as part of the rituals is her father and he doesn’t remember a thing.
The overall goal of Wherever I Look is to fill in that space between the average fan and critic and advise you on what’s worth experiencing.
