Finding Carter: Season 1

  • Finding Carter: Season 1/ Episode 12 “One Hour Photo” [Season Finale] – Recap/ Review (with Spoilers)

Overview As Lori lurks in the shadows like the Cheshire Cat in Alice in Wonderland, Max says goodbye. Review (with Spoilers) As the season comes to a close, honestly I feel this maybe the last episode of Finding Carter I may watch. For while I still consider myself a fan of Kathryn Prescott and Alex Saxon, I lost my will to continue watching this show halfway through the season. If just because I lost interest in Carter’s self-caused drama, especially in terms of Crash. Add on Lori doesn’t make you feel conflicted about her motherhood by the end of the episode, and really what are you left with? Especially since it seems Saxon’s time on the show may have come to an end. Community Rating: 0.00% (0) - No Community Ratings Submitted.

  • Finding Carter: Season 1/ Episode 11 “The Long Goodbye” – Recap/ Review (with Spoilers)

Overview After all that has happened to Carter, or because of Carter, the time has come for redemption. Review (with Spoilers) With the most loved character of the show in a coma, naturally a lot of guilt bears down on Carter’s head. Whether it is from Taylor, whose first real boyfriend is on the verge of dying; Grant, who is losing perhaps one of the first people to really get close to him and foster their relationship; and then of course there is Bird, Gabe, Elizabeth, Ofe, and then Max’s mom Karen. All of which who want to see Max make it and continue to be his lovable eccentric self. Though, as much as they want to see Max make it, they also want the person who put him into the hospital captured. Community Rating: 0.00% (0) - No Community Ratings Submitted.

  • Finding Carter: Season 1/ Episode 10 “Love Story” – Recap/ Review (with Spoilers)

Overview Whenever a gun gets involved in any teen drama, a countdown begins. For you know, sooner or later, someone is going to die, or at least get shot, because of that gun. Review (with Spoilers) Sometimes I wonder why Carter is with Crash. Does she like the idea of taking care of a baby bird so much that she couldn’t just stay friends with him? I mean, in comparison to Max, I almost don’t get why she felt the need to date him? He doesn’t have anything to offer, since he is broke; only has some inkling of street smarts; and has a criminal record. But I guess when a person makes you feel hot and bothered you’ll make a million and one excuses. Though with this episode, in which it seems Carter may have to choose between Max, Crash, if not also her own future, hopefully love doesn’t…

  • Finding Carter: Season 1/ Episode 9 “Do the Right Thing” – Recap/ Review (with Spoilers)

Overview As one relationship exponentially grows, Carter’s with her parents and Bird diminishes to the point it seems doing something reckless is on the horizon. Review (with Spoilers) Community Rating: 60.75% (1)

  • Finding Carter: Season 1/ Episode 8 “Half Baked” – Recap/ Review (with Spoilers)

Overview During the constant pursuit of the Wilson’s becoming a happy family, someone always ends up ruining it. Review (with Spoilers) With Lori temporarily out of the picture, and Carter’s friends mostly taking the week off, there is a strong focus on Carter’s family life. Especially in light of the news of Elizabeth’s affair. Something which leads David to massively take advantage of the situation but, with him not covering his bases, by the episode’s end we are reminded why Elizabeth cheated on him in the first place. • Finding Carter: Season 1/ Episode 7 “Throw Momma From the Train” – Recap/ Review (with Spoilers)

Overview On the twins birthday everyone gets a bit emotional. Either due to Carter talking about leaving or because Elizabeth’s affair is revealed. Review (with Spoilers) With only one episode seemingly left before this goes on hiatus, I must admit this made for a decent episode. Watching Elizabeth have a moment reminiscing when was the last time she saw her girls together got me teary eyed, us seeing Grant neglected as usual got to me, and finally Max and Taylor came out as a couple. But what really kept the episode interesting was Carter wanting to leave, the use of flashbacks, and Taylor telling her some weird details which slowly began to chip away at Carter seeing Lori as her mother, and maybe now seeing her as her abductor. • Finding Carter: Season 1/ Episode 6 “The Fugitive” – Recap/ Review (with Spoilers)

Overview A lot of people are given 2nd chances, but the question is: Are they deserving of one? Review (with Spoilers) With only a few episodes left, at least from what I can tell, I must admit that even as much as I like the series, it wouldn’t necessarily sadden me if it wasn’t renewed for a 2nd season. If just because I think it needs to evolve past her being abducted. For honestly, unless Lori says David was molesting Carter or something major like that, I just can’t find a reason to really want to root for her getting Carter back. As for the rest of the storylines, while they are nice they just don’t really pack a punch. More on this episode’s story below. Community Rating: 0.00% (0) - No Community Ratings Submitted.

  • Finding Carter: Season 1/ Episode 5 “The Heat” – Recap/ Review (with Spoilers)

Overview As the twins, Carter and Taylor, grow closer to someone they thought they never would, it seems Elizabeth and David’s relationship still is decaying. Review (with Spoilers) As I said in episode 2, “I may end up with mixed emotions about 99% of the characters” and damn if it wasn’t true. For, until this episode, I disliked Taylor. But with Carter’s influence finally having an effect on her, she loosens up. Though with her loosening up does come the question if girls like Taylor, pre-loosening up, really have a place on television anymore? Does everyone have to be like Carter or Bird in order to really get any focus, or even be the star of a show that isn’t on the Disney Channel? Well, that would be a topic for if I ever decide to write an essay. As for this episode, The Heat, all you need to know…
