“Mountains & Molehills” focuses on issues with communication that can come up in a marriage. Especially when personalities conflict and one, or both, are evolving.
With the honeymoon period over, so comes realizing you committed to a person long term and trying to figure out did you make the right decision?
“Long and Windy Roads” focuses on couples who, from lack of communication to baggage from past relationships, struggled to make it to the altar.
In, what I want to say is the official, season 2 finale, we go over what makes a marriage last. Which all boils down to a handful of things.
There are multiple things which test relationships. Previously Black Love has covered infidelity, children, and arguments. Now it is one of the hardest battles: Dealing with death, disease, and life-altering injuries.
In “Picking Your Battles” it all boils down to communication and asking yourself, do you prefer being right or having a healthy and loving relationship with this person?
Black Love returns and the focus is what did our couples learn from past relationships and marriages which makes their current one so strong?
Children are something which can either enhance a marriage or present another factor which requires counseling and the need for self-reflection. It all depends on your parenting style.
The overall goal of Wherever I Look is to fill in that space between the average fan and critic and advise you on what’s worth experiencing.
