Bates Motel Season 2

  • Bates Motel: Season 2/ Episode 10 “The Immutable Truth” [Season Finale] – Overview/ Review (with Spoilers)

Overview If there is one thing Norma has been trying to give Norman all his life, it is a sense of normalcy. Something which seemingly maybe at its end. Review (with Spoilers) Norman has been crazy lucky this season. He got his first real taste of love, outside of his mother; accidently murdered someone, and got away with it; and pretty much had the type of summer no kid would believe happened. Thing is, one final test of his luck comes with this polygraph test Romero wants. And while Dylan is for Norman having the type of protection, and likely medication, he needs, from medical professionals, Norma hasn’t given up just yet. • Bates Motel: Season 2/ Episode 8 “Meltdown” – Overview/ Review (with Spoilers)

Overview Someone is convicted of Blair’s murder, and Nick seemingly is ready to bury a few more bodies in the grave. Review (with Spoilers) With Cody gone, the focus of the show seems geared toward a stronger focus on the drug war between the Morgan and Ford family, as well as Blair’s murder. Both of which involve Nick Ford, but he seems to have very little focus on his daughter’s killer for Zane’s antics have turned him into a man who looks like he could be the brother of The Undertaker. But, before he rains down his fury on the town, he tries to make peace. Community Rating: 0.00% (0) - No Community Ratings Submitted.

  • Bates Motel: Season 2/ Episode 9 “The Box” – Overview/ Review (with Spoilers)

Overview With one episode left, honestly “The Box” doesn’t make for an exciting episode to hype us for the finale. Review (with Spoilers) Though I’m not sure what the ratings are, I do feel Bates Motel does have a sort of sophomore slump going on. If just because, despite the finale being next week, I just don’t feel all that excited. Be it because the Cody saga seemed to be the high point; the Ford vs. Morgan drug war being rather boring, especially when you compare it to other storylines on the show; or just me really wanting some of the jaw dropping moments we saw in the first season, overall I just feel like the season finale really needs to be a knockout punch. • Bates Motel: Season 2/ Episode 6 “Plunge” – Overview/ Review (with Spoilers)

Overview Norman being sensitive and emotional ends up leading to quite an issue with Cody. Review (with Spoilers) In this episode, Norma finally achieves something in her life, without it being significantly tainted, and naturally this is when Norman’s life is just about to fall apart. Making it seem that as close as the two are, they sort of are detrimental to one another. But, while things are bad for those two, things seem to be looking up for both Emma and Dylan. More on that below. Community Rating: 0.00% (0) - No Community Ratings Submitted.

  • Bates Motel: Season 2/ Episode 5 “The Escape Artist” – Overview/ Review (with Spoilers)

Overview While love is in the air for many, it seems like this maybe just the calm before the storm. Review (with Spoilers) In this episode, it seems most of the main cast may have found someone. Norma has George, who is absent this episodes; Emma has the weed dealer, whose name escapes me; Norman has Cody, whose issues get revealed; and though Dylan doesn’t end up with a love interest, he certain does impress someone after a stunt he pulled. But as most of the main cast finds a hint of joy in life, the war between the Fords and Zane’s family begins to really heat up. Community Rating: 0.00% (0) - No Community Ratings Submitted.

  • Bates Motel: Season 2/ Episode 4 “Check-Out ” – Overview/ Review (with Spoilers)

Overview With Norman on the verge of snapping, it seems Norma may not be the only person he can rely on bringing him back to normalcy. Trigger Warning(s): Brief scenes of sexual assault Review (with Spoilers) With each passing episode, it seems we get closer and closer to Norman’s next breaking point, and we get to see him really crack this episode. But, not just in the way you expect, with him going psycho and all. He cracks when it comes to talking about himself and his personal life. For while Emma is still around, and ever curious, Cody seems to be what perhaps Norman needs. And alongside Norman finding a good balancer, Norma seemingly may have found one as well in Christine and George. But, as for Dylan, with things worse than ever between him and Norma, it seems he is still the odd man out. Community Rating: 0.00%…

  • Bates Motel: Season 2/ Episode 3 “Caleb” – Overview/ Review (with Spoilers)

Overview With Bradley gone, a new, possibly troubled girl steps in, and as more of Norma’s past is revealed, one woman seems like she may provide some semblance of a brighter future. Trigger Warning(s): Conversation about Rape Review (with Spoilers) I don’t know why all this time I thought new girl Cody was just Bradley with a dye job. But, just based on the little we’ve seen out of her thus far, my ears are peaked. As for the rest of the cast, Norma has made a new friend in Christine, the former casting director for the South Pacific musical, and even Dylan has made a new friend, though his friend is blood-related. Altogether, though certainly things do seem like they may be looking up for everyone, trouble still brews behind the scenes. Community Rating: 0.00% (0) - No Community Ratings Submitted.

  • Bates Motel: Season 2/ Episode 2 “Shadow of a Doubt ” – Overview/ Review (with Spoilers)

Overview The girl of Norman’s dreams fades into the distance, but her blood trail points in so many directions. Trigger Warning(s): Intro showing Ms. Watson, after being murdered Review (with Spoilers) In another episode in which Emma seems more like a reoccurring role than regular, Norman deals with Bradley’s issues the best he can, as Norma tries to deal with Norman’s the best she can. Meanwhile, the town has another murder on their hands, and though someone is arrested for Ms. Watson’s murder, Gil’s murder by Bradley has no suspects, so new character Zane, or Zayn, thinks the Ford family did it. Leading to a possible drug war in the future. Community Rating: 0.00% (0) - No Community Ratings Submitted.
