Fuuka ends its meandering storyline as you’d expect and thus ends a show which had promise but then lost its path.
Kuzu no Honkai continues to focus on the growth and development of Akane and delivers quite a storyline. Though, it does leave you to wonder, how will things end for the two young lovers we begun this journey with?
As with the majority of the show, there isn’t much hardship for Tanya as multiple operations kick off. However, it seems the easy days maybe over as Anson Sioux reintroduces himself.
While the show takes a slight step back with the inclusion of more ecchi than seen in recent memory [note]there are ass shots galore[/note], it makes a lot of hasty moves so it can wrap up the story.
In an episode which largely is focused on understanding Akame, you also begin to understand Mugi past his likable façade.
With the end of the season coming upon us, so comes the question of how this war may end? Much less, with it being awhile since Being X has been around, but it reviving and speaking to Anson Sioux, you have to wonder what will come of Tanya? Will the devil of the Rhine be…
Fuuka continues to be such an aggravating show as Fuuka deals with her emotional immaturity, a selective memory, a life or death experience, and we get the type of cliffhanger which really tests your patience.
One more memory. That seems to have become the theme of the latest episodes. Just one last moment with your eternal crush before you realize you have to let them go. In this episode, it’s Ecchan’s turn.
Sword Art Online The Movie: Ordinal Scale is perhaps the ideal movie for those who have followed the series since 2012. It features past characters, introduces a handful of new ones who easily integrate into the overall story, and it ends without pleasing for a sequel. It is simply the send off you wish more…
As Tanya continues to exhibit why she is called The Devil of the Rhine, it seems Being X may have found a demon slayer.
The time to confess, and likely be rejected, has come.
Being a fan of the original Chaos;Head and Steins;Gate series, I was waiting a long time for this OVA to be released. The original, though originally just a silly anime, got serious and made me cry tears. And, the OVA did as well, for while there were stronger episodes in the series than the OVA is…

Overview/ Review (with Spoilers) This episode strongly focuses on Noriko and Mugi’s date and while she has only been seen as a brat and an annoyance thus far, in this episode you’ll genuinely connect with her. Especially if you ever fell in love with one of your friends.
Overview/ Review (with Spoilers) For a little more than a year, between the new versions of Sailor Moon and Digimon, featuring the 1st season’s Digi-Destined, it seemed cashing in on nostalgia was a good thing. But then came Gantz:O.
Overview/ Review (with Spoilers) With the show firmly shifting Fuuka’s storyline toward making this a show about music and seeming ending Yuu’s harem and just making it about him and Koyuki, I almost feel like I need to reevaluate the show. It’s no longer what it once was and I don’t know if that is…
Overview/ Review (with Spoilers) In an episode which deals with filling that emptiness inside, we watch as people settle with being a second choice or give into their dark insecurities for some form of love’s methadone.
Overview In a bar, people play games which decide their fate. Which could be heaven, hell, the void, or reincarnation. Review (with Spoilers) – Below
Overview/ Review (with Spoilers) At this point, as cool as the action scenes are and as Being X makes it seem that it’ll, one way or another, inspire true faith in Tanya, it all means very little if we are to never learn why the Empire is at war.
Overview/ Review (with Spoilers) As if Yuu wasn’t nervous enough about his first public performance, Koyuki reveals he is the guy who inspired all of her biggest songs.
Overview/ Review (with Spoilers) Mugi comes back into focus and with that, you’d think things would return to how they were. However, with him reflecting on his past and questioning how Hana can fit into his present, it seems he wants something to change.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9h0aKrV5WIo Episode Overview A young orphan learns that a rumored detective agency is real and that they may be his ticket out of poverty. Episode Rating: Stick Around Review Summary I don’t know why everything makes me think of Kekkai Sensen, but there is something about Bungou Stray Dogs which sort of fills the gap…
Overview/ Review (with Spoilers) This episode focuses on trying to build up Koyuki’s status on the show through showing her and Yuu as kids and presenting her as a real contender for Yuu’s heart.
Overview/ Review (with Spoilers) This is a very weird episode. If only because it sort of goes against the grain when it comes to action anime. We aren’t presented some unbeatable force which our hero, well anti-hero, has to train and get stronger to defeat. Pretty much, Tanya is given the opportunity for a blood…
Overview/ Review (with Spoilers) The title of this anime has confused me a little bit for I just don’t see how the need and want to feel desired by someone makes a person scum. Yet, in this episode, we get a taste of who is actually scum and there is an argument that Hanabi is…
Introduction After an extended wait to find a subbed version, I finally have found access to Chaos Dragon – Sekiryuu Seneki. Which, at first, I must say didn’t feel like it was worth the wait. Granted, it has blood splatter, a seemingly insurmountable force, as well as charismatic villains, but with the Dragon in question…
Overview Digimon returns for another round and while there isn’t a huge amount of action or compelling fights, we do get to see the challenges which come from being a DigiDestined who still has to go to school and have a life outside of the digital world.
Overview Like so many kids who were born in the 90s, many of my arguments dealt with which was better and often it would be one cartoon vs. another. For me, I was a devoted Digimon fan up until the 3rd season in which I had to tap out since the quality faded. However, now…

Overview/ Review (with Spoilers) While this episode takes on the issue of discrimination against Demis seriously, it’s after school special handling of it is perhaps the last straw for me.

Overview/ Review (with Spoilers) Demi-chan wa Kataritai (Interviews With Monster Girls) firmly established itself as a slice of life anime featuring a few world famous monsters and while they do have some issues, they are approached in such a melancholy or indifferent way that it is hard to take and keep interest at times.
Overview/ Review (with Spoilers) While the majority of the episode is very aggravating and ends with an unnecessary moment featuring some ecchi, there remains this cute budding relationship which is the show’s saving grace.
