Summary

River is forced to work for two cops who are trying to take down a local dealer/ distributor named Silas. They use her daughter, Jade, to force her to do this, with minimal care for her safety.

Content Rating

Expect some cursing, violence (including blood), smoking, drinking, drug use, and reference to underage exploitation

Noted  Characters and Cast

River (Mikey Madison), Jade (Mia Love Disnard), and  Silas (Gerald Gillum)

Review Summary

"All Souls" thankfully doesn't lean too heavily on Jade, nor make River too out of place as a confidential informant by making her path to Silas believable.

Review Summary

Silas isn't built up well. Why he is a target for the cops to the point of exploiting a 19 year old is not developed as it should be.

Who Is this For?

Those who love stories of revenge and female underdogs, especially mothers, protecting their children despite the power dynamics of the situations they find themselves in.

"If Not Now, When?" also has a strong mother/daughter relationship at the center of it, but the drug problem is the mother's.
