Thony and Nadia are desperate for answers and solutions. Nadia wants to know what happened to Arman and Thony is trying to get her family back to America.
And in the end, Thony ends up in a bad deal with Sin Cara, where she will clean for as long as they want, and Nadia decides to work with the FBI for answers.
In addition, the fascination with Thony, to the point of forgiving her many trespasses still is perplexing. Even if she continues to give away any and all leverage she has in bad deals.
But while a lot seems the same, Jorge (who will inevitably get arrested/killed because of Thony) at least sees Thony as the liability she has become and makes for a good adversary for her.
